8th Annual Liberty Half Marathon Set for New Year's Day

​Registration is now open for the 8th Annual Liberty Half Marathon, a run that starts at Marie's Candies at 9am on New Year's Day in West Liberty and finishes at Reliant Mechanical, Inc. in East Liberty.

Shuttles will be available to transport all runners back to the beginning of the race in West Liberty.

The half-marathon race features scenic, rolling countryside with one large steep hill.  There is a $30 entry fee if you register online before December 24, 2017. All proceeds benefit the West Liberty Salem girls track and field team.  Race day registration is $40.  Race day registration will be held at Subway, just up the street from Marie's Candies.
